Blue plaque unveiled to mark the childhood home of actor Richard Briers

This year saw the roads of Raynes Park packed with local residents and visitors out to enjoy this very popular cycling event.
Over 30,000 cyclists took part in this event which is now into its 3rd year.
It was a very hot day – very different to the previous year where it poured and the route had to be shortened – there were several live bands along Worple Road, free cakes from Saisbury’s and helium balloons from My Favourite Things.
The town Centre was full of people cheering on the riders and children waving it was a fantastic day.
